HITrental Niederdorf Apartments a great place to stay in Zurich

By Mark

During our Epic European Adventure where we travelled to 11 countries in 22 days around Europe by train, we made a stop in Zurich, Switzerland, where we stayed for one night at HITrental Niederdorf Apartments. The apartments are located in the heart of the Old Town, just a few minutes’ walk from the main train station and close to many of the city’s top attractions.

Upon arrival, we collected our keys from the password protected lock box outside, the code for this is emailed to you before you arrive. After climbing a flight of steps we were impressed by the modern and stylish design of the apartment, which was equipped with everything we needed for our short stay.

The apartment featured a comfortable king-sized bed, a sofa bed for Matthew to sleep on, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, a flat-screen TV, and a spacious bathroom with a shower as well as washing machine and dryer. The apartment was clean and well-maintained.

One of the highlights of our stay was the location of the apartments. We were in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by charming cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes. We enjoyed exploring the area on foot and discovering all of the hidden gems that Zurich has to offer. In the evening we all had a mixture of things to eat that we brought back to the apartment, Matthew had a chicken burger from ZFC (Zurich Fried Chicken) a fast food place located on the ground floor of the apartment block, I had a donor wrap from a take away down the street and Holly had a pizza that we got from a local store and cooked back at the apartment.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at HITrental Niederdorf Apartments and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Zurich. If we return to this beautiful city I would stay again.
