Mercure Paris Gare de l’Est – Hotel Review

By Mark

The Mercure Paris Gare de l’Est Hotel is within easy walking distance from Gare du Nord Train Station and Gare de l’Est Train Station. We stayed in a family privilege room that included a complementary minibar and breakfast.

We arrived early in the morning after a Eurostar from London, obviously it was too early to check in but the friendly receptionist stored our cases for us until we came back later in the day.

Our room was clean and consisted of a king bed and sofabed that was made up ready. Even though we were overlooking the street there was no discernible noise at night.

We made use of the complementary minibar, it was only soft drinks and water but it was very welcome.

Breakfast was served in the basement, there was not an extensive selection but it was more than adequate.

The area has an abundance of restaurants as well as a McDonalds just a few steps away.

In summary I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
