National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham

By Mark

We decided to take a short trip to the National SEA LIFE Centre in Birmingham as like many other attractions around the UK it is part of the Merlin Group and as such we can use our annual passes for admission.

Upon entering you notice its scale as it is laid out on many floors.

The first exhibit you come to is the penguins and you can have a great view of them both from above and below the water.

We then continued up the staircases to the upper levels where there is a whole array of sea creatures including 100’s of species of fish, sea horses, octopus, and even a turtle.

We also watched an Octonauts movie in there cinema which should have been in 3D but there was an issue with the projector so was restricted to 2D only.

Overall it is one of the best SEA LIFE Centres I have been to because of its scale and variety of exhibits.
